The Sunday Vibe
BDQ Taproom & Kitchen (the Bar a Bière Puivert), has the best of vibes, but especially on Sunday's. People of all ages come in to enjoy mellow music, good craft beer and some great burgers from Adeline. Exactly how we like it.
The Perfect Sunday Afternoon
That family friendly, relaxed vibe is what Sunday's are all about in Rural France. On a sunny winter's day, (we’re told), the best spots are by the log fire, because you can watch the sun set over the mountains and top up your vitamin D at the same time, without having to leave your seat. A beer to wash down a plate of cheese and a bag of crisps is apparently the best cure for the muscle aches from those long walks through the mountain tracks / gruelling cycle ride.
Kids, Paws and Muddy Boots
The Bar does look a lot smarter than in our early days of brewing at the Puivert Microbrasserie, but muddy boots, kids and paws are still as welcome. We're at the bottom of the track to Puivert Chateau, a short walk from Puivert Lake, a short drive from Nebias Labyrinth.
Puivert‘s Lake, Chateau, Cake, Après-Ski
For some people, we’re the final Sunday destination after a walk, with the promise of hot chocolate and cake at the finish.
Puivert is an hour away from the ski-stations of Ax-Les-Thermes and 45 minutes from Mont D'olmes, so we’re a popular choice on the way home after the slopes.
Everybody is welcome (even Wine Drinkers).
